Sold out – Organic Premium Reserve Matcha 30g
€85,00
Crafted for both usucha (薄茶) and koicha (濃茶), this organic premium reserve matcha represents the highest expression of our selection.
Exceptionally deep green, it delivers a rich yet refined cup where depth, intensity, and balance coexist without heaviness. The profile opens with a natural, almost chocolate-like sweetness, followed by pronounced umami and a clean, integrated bitterness that lingers softly.
Made from carefully selected first-harvest tencha and produced in extremely limited quantities, it offers remarkable clarity and layered complexity rarely found even among top ceremonial grades.
After the May harvest, the tencha is rested for approximately six months, then stone-milled slowly in small batches to preserve aroma, texture, and precision. This process results in a dense yet elegant matcha with a clean, composed finish.
Produced in only 50 kg per year by one of Kyoto’s few fully JAS-certified organic tea farms, this matcha is intended for focused moments — not everyday use, but occasions where depth, concentration, and quality truly matter.
Preparation: Usucha — 2g matcha, 70ml water at 70–80°C, Koicha — 4g matcha, 30ml water at 70–80°C
Packaging: 30 g plant-based refill pouch, housed in a food-grade tin (Sn) container — a 100% recyclable metal traditionally used for tea storage. Finished with a protective outer box.
