A tea bowl begins with the hand that made it, but it comes fully alive in the hands that use it.

This amber-glazed matcha bowl bears the seal of Jikyū. Its compact proportions – 10.3 cm across and 6.4 cm high, give it the familiar, settled presence of a bowl made to be held close. The warmth of its amber glaze invites a quiet pause before tea.

A bowl kept with care, ready for its next tea.
