What makes this matcha.

Grown by the Nakai family in Wazuka, Kyoto, organic farmers for over 350 years. Single-cultivar Okumidori, shade-grown under traditional shading, harvested on 18th May and rested for 6 months. Then slowly stone-milled in late October, just 30 to 40g per hour to preserve every note of aroma, fineness, and clarity.

Approximately 90kg produced per year – this matcha is exclusive to MUSUBI MATCHA in France and Italy.

Preparation

For a pure bowl (usucha) : 1.5–2g, 70ml hot water at 70–85°C. For a thicker matcha (koicha), more concentrated preparation, see our → Premium Reserve.
